Homemade Hummus

Easy hummus in the food processor. Great with veggies or as a spread in a wrap

Ingredients

  • 1 garbanzo beans chick peas, drained, reserve juices, canned
  • lemon divided, juice of one
  • 1 garlic crushed, or 2 cloves of garlic
  • 3 tablespoon tahini sesame paste
  • salt Kosher, to taste
  • black pepper Kosher, to taste
  • olive oil for drizzling

Instructions

  1. In a food processor, puree the beans with 1 clove of garlic, juice of half of the lemon, and tahini.
  2. Add reserved bean juice 1-2 Tablespoons at a time and process until hummus is smooth.
  3. Taste and adjust seasonings, adding more lemon juice, garlic, salt and pepper if necessary.
