Homemade Mexican Pizza Recipe (Taco Bell Copycat)
Description
The recipe begins by warming refried beans and cooking ground beef seasoned with taco seasoning. Flour tortillas are then toasted in a skillet until both sides are slightly golden and crisp. Six toasted tortillas are arranged on a cookie sheet as the base. Each tortilla is spread with refried beans, followed by seasoned ground beef, then topped with another toasted tortilla. On top, red enchilada sauce is spread thinly before covering with shredded Mexican cheese. The entire assembly is baked at 350 degrees Fahrenheit until the cheese melts, creating a warm, layered Mexican-style pizza.
This dish combines creamy refried beans, savory seasoned beef, and melted cheese between crispy tortillas, bringing a familiar Tex-Mex flavor. It can be served with fresh diced tomatoes, sliced green onions, and hot sauce to customize the heat level and freshness.

- Divide the cooked beef evenly between the 5 tortillas.
- Place another tortilla on top of the meat, creating a sandwich.
- Spread a thin layer of enchilada sauce evenly on top of each tortilla, followed by shredded cheese.
