Homemade Ranch Dressing
Description
Homemade Ranch Dressing combines buttermilk, sour cream, and mayonnaise as a creamy base mixed with garlic and fresh herbs like chives, parsley, and dill. The lemon juice adds bright acidity, while salt and black pepper provide seasoning to taste. The ingredients are blended until smooth to achieve a consistent texture. This dressing is well suited for salads, vegetable dips, or as a topping for sandwiches.
The dressing's creamy texture with fresh herb notes and the tang from buttermilk and lemon make it a flexible option for various uses. Its preparation requires minimal effort, primarily blending ingredients until combined.
After preparation, storing the dressing in an airtight container in the refrigerator maintains freshness for up to 10 days, allowing for advance preparation and convenience in meal planning.
