Homemade Ranch Dressing

Creamy, tangy and zesty, there's a reason why Ranch Dressing is America's favorite condiment. And while the bottled stuff is fine, nothing beats the flavor of homemade. And it only takes a few minutes to make!

Ingredients

Servings
  • 1/2 cup mayonnaise
  • 1/2 cup sour cream or Greek yogurt
  • 1/2 cup buttermilk or milk
  • 2 tablespoons chives or 1/2 teaspoon dried, fresh, finely minced
  • 3 tablespoons parsley or 3/4 teaspoon dried, finely minced
  • 2 tablespoons dill or 1/2 teaspoon dried, finely minced
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice fresh or white wine vinegar
  • 1/2 teaspoon kosher salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper freshly ground

Instructions

  1. Whisk together the mayo, sour cream and buttermilk until smooth. Add the herbs, garlic powder, onion powder, salt and pepper and whisk until combined. Pour into a clean glass jar and keep chilled in the refrigerator until ready to serve. The dressing will keep in the refrigerator for at least a week (we finished ours up at 2 weeks and it was still perfectly good).
