Homemade Salsa

Homemade Salsa combines diced tomatoes, Rotel, fresh Roma tomatoes, onion, cilantro, jalapeño, and seasonings blended to your preferred consistency. The mix of ingredients creates a fresh-tasting salsa with fresh and canned tomatoes and a touch of heat from jalapeño. It is a versatile condiment that pairs well with chips or as a topping for various dishes.

Description

Homemade Salsa is prepared by blending canned diced tomatoes and Rotel with fresh Roma tomatoes, onions, cilantro, jalapeño, garlic, and spices including cumin, garlic salt, and sugar. Lime juice adds a bright acidity that balances the flavors. The salsa texture can be adjusted from chunky to smooth based on how much you pulse the blender. The combination of fresh and canned ingredients provides a fresh yet slightly tangy and spicy flavor profile.

The salsa is ideal to serve as a dip with tortilla chips or as a flavorful addition to tacos, grilled meats, or rice dishes. The fresh cilantro and jalapeño offer a lively note while the garlic and cumin deepen the taste.

To maintain freshness, store the salsa refrigerated and stir before serving. Any darkening or off smell indicates it should be discarded.
