Homemade Strawberry Gogurt
Description
This recipe combines equal parts plain yogurt and fresh strawberries with honey, then blends everything until smooth to create a portable yogurt pouch treat. The balance of tart yogurt and sweet berries results in a creamy, fruit-flavored snack suitable for children and adults alike.
The gogurt can be stored in the refrigerator for a few days or frozen for longer storage. Freezing ahead is recommended to provide a thawed treat by lunchtime. The recipe is flexible, allowing substitutions with different fruits, frozen berries, or yogurt varieties, catering to personal preference and seasonal availability.
Sealing the gogurt in reusable pouches makes it easy to portion and carry, though some children may need the tops of the pouches trimmed for easier access depending on age and dexterity.
Ingredients
- 16 oz PLAIN yogurt
- 16 oz strawberry cleaned and halved or chopped, fresh
- 2 tablespoons honey
Instructions

Notes
- Refrigerate fresh gogurt for up to 3 days and freeze for up to 2 months.
- Freeze before packing in lunchboxes so it defrosts by snack time for optimal texture.

- Consider trimming pouch tops for younger children to facilitate eating.
