Homemade Taco Seasoning
Description
Homemade Taco Seasoning combines ground cumin and smoked paprika for a warm, earthy, and subtly smoky base. Onion powder and garlic powder add depth and aromatic qualities, while chili powder and cayenne pepper contribute a mild heat. Kosher salt balances the spices without overpowering them. This dry seasoning mix can be stirred directly into ground meat, vegetables, or beans when preparing tacos or other Tex-Mex meals. Storing it in an airtight container preserves freshness for up to six months.
