Homemade Wake Up Wrap
Description
This recipe begins with whisking eggs seasoned with salt and pepper, then baking them in a greased pan alongside sausage patties at 3506F for 20 minutes. The eggs are cut into rectangular portions equal to the number of wraps. Each tortilla is layered with a cheddar cheese slice, an egg rectangle, and a sausage patty on one side. The wraps are then baked briefly to melt the cheese and warm the tortillas, before folding in half.
The baking method ensures the eggs have a firm, sliceable texture and the sausage patties are fully cooked with even browning. Melting the cheese in the oven adds creamy binding inside each wrap. The small 6-inch tortillas make a convenient handheld size for breakfast on the go.
These wraps can be stored refrigerated and reheated individually, suitable for quick meals or batch preparation. Using bacon slices instead of sausage patties offers a variation on the protein choice.
Ingredients
- 9 egg
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/4 tsp black pepper
- 6 sausage patties
- 6 flour tortillas about 6" in diameter each, small

- Bake again at 350F for 3 minutes or until the cheese is melty. Fold the tortillas in half.
