  • 4 chicken breast boneless, skinless
  • salt to taste
  • black pepper to taste
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 4 cloves garlic minced
  • 1/3 cup honey
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce low sodium
  • 1 tablespoon apple cider vinegar
  • 1/2 cup chicken broth
  • 1 tablespoon cornstarch mixed with 1 tablespoon water

Instructions

  1. Season the chicken breasts with salt and pepper.
  2. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat and cook the chicken until golden and cooked through, about 6-7 minutes per side. Remove chicken and set aside.
  3. In the same skillet, add minced garlic and sauté until fragrant, about 1 minute. Add honey, soy sauce, vinegar, and chicken broth, bringing the mixture to a simmer.
  4. Stir in the cornstarch mixture and continue to simmer until the sauce thickens, about 2 minutes.
  5. Return the chicken to the skillet and coat with the sauce. Cook for an additional 2 minutes to reheat the chicken.
