  • black pepper ground
  • 2 egg beaten, large
  • 1 cup panko or breadcrumbs
  • white sesame seeds for garnishing
  • scallions or chives, for garnishing, chopped

Honey Garlic Sauce:

  • 2 cloves garlic finely minced
  • 4 tablespoons honey
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 2 tablespoons Thai sweet chili sauce
  • 1/4 cup water
  • 1/2 tablespoon cornstarch

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C). Season the chicken with salt and black pepper. Coat each piece with the beaten eggs, then roll in the panko, ensuring each piece is nicely coated.
  2. Transfer the chicken to a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Bake for about 12–15 minutes, or until the chicken turns golden brown. You may want to flip the pieces halfway through to ensure even browning.
