Ingredients
- 800 g chicken wings
- 3 tbsp soy sauce
- 2 tbsp honey
- 3 cloves garlic Minced
- 1 tsp ginger Minced
- 1 tbsp oil
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/4 tsp black pepper
- 1/4 tsp chilli flakes Adjust to taste

Instructions
- In a bowl, whisk together the soy sauce, honey, minced garlic, minced ginger, olive oil, salt, black pepper, and red pepper flakes.
- Place the chicken wings in a resealable plastic bag or a bowl and pour the marinade over them. Make sure the wings are well coated.
- Seal the bag or cover the bowl and let the wings marinate in the refrigerator for at least 15 minutes, or up to 30 minutes for more flavour.
- Preheat your oven to 200°C (392°F).
- Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or lightly grease it.
- Arrange the marinated chicken wings on the baking sheet in a single layer, leaving space between each wing.
- Bake the wings in the preheated oven for about 25-30 minutes, or until they are cooked through and crispy. You can flip them halfway through the cooking time for even browning.
- Once the wings are done, remove them from the oven and let them rest for a few minutes.
- Garnish the wings with fresh cilantro or sesame seeds for added flavour and presentation.
- Serve the honey garlic chicken wings hot as an appetizer or a main dish, accompanied by your favourite dipping sauce.
Notes
- You can adjust the amount of red pepper flakes based on your preferred level of spiciness.
- If you prefer a sweeter glaze, you can brush the cooked wings with a little more honey before serving.
