Honey Garlic Crockpot Meatballs
Description
This recipe uses thawed frozen pre-cooked meatballs combined with a sauce made from barbecue sauce, honey, minced fresh garlic, and cayenne pepper. The ingredients are stirred together in the slow cooker, ensuring the meatballs are well coated.
Cooking on low heat for 3-4 hours or high for 2 hours allows the sauce to meld into the meatballs and warm them thoroughly. The honey and garlic provide sweetness and pungency, while cayenne adds a mild heat element.
The dish is stirred before serving to evenly distribute the sauce and can be served as an appetizer or main dish. The slow cooker method offers convenience with minimal active cooking time.
