Honey-garlic pork ribeye steak

This recipe prepares pork ribeye steaks seared to a golden brown and then glazed with a honey-garlic sauce made from soy sauce, honey, garlic, lemon juice, and chili flakes. The result is a tender meat with a flavorful, slightly sticky glaze balancing sweet, salty, and tangy notes with a mild hint of heat.

Description

The honey-garlic pork ribeye steak begins with seasoning and pan-searing the pork steaks until both sides develop a brown crust. The sauce combines soy sauce or tamari with honey, crushed garlic cloves, lemon juice, and chili flakes for flavor complexity. After pouring the sauce into the pan, the pork is basted as the sauce reduces, coating the meat and infusing it with a rich blend of sweet and savory notes highlighted by garlic and citrus brightness. Cooking continues until the pork reaches desired doneness.

The sticky glaze complements the tender pork texture, while the chili flakes add subtle heat. Resting the meat after cooking helps redistribute juices for moistness.

This dish works well served alongside steamed vegetables or rice to balance the flavor intensity. The simple ingredient list makes it suitable for a straightforward yet tasty meal.
