  • 1/3 cup honey
  • 3 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 2 tablespoons lemon juice
  • 2 cloves garlic minced
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/4 teaspoon red pepper flakes optional
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 4 salmon 6 ounces each, skin on, fillets
  • parsley chopped (for garnish, fresh

Instructions

  1. In a small bowl, whisk together honey, soy sauce, lemon juice, minced garlic, black pepper, and optional red pepper flakes.
  2. Preheat your oven to 400°F. Line a baking sheet with foil and brush it with 1 tablespoon olive oil.
  3. Pat the salmon dry with paper towels. Place the salmon fillets on the prepared baking sheet, skin-side down. Brush the salmon with the remaining olive oil.
  4. Generously brush the glaze over the top of each salmon fillet.
  5. Bake in the preheated oven for 12-15 minutes, or until salmon is cooked through and flakes easily with a fork.
  6. Remove from oven, garnish with fresh parsley, and serve immediately.
