This Greek salad dressing recipe perfectly garlicky, tangy, bursting with oregano and sweetly balanced with honey.

Ingredients
- 1 garlic large clove
- 2 tablespoons Dijon mustard
- 2 tablespoons honey
- 1 teaspoon oregano leaves dried
- 1 teaspoon oregano leaves fresh
- 2 tablespoon lemon juice
- 2 tablespoons white balsamic vinegar
- 1/3 cup olive oil extra virgin
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- black pepper pinch
- 2 tablespoons feta cheese crumbled
- 1 tablespoon kalamata olives minced
Notes
- Drizzle it on salad or use it as a sauce on grilled or roasted fish, chicken or meat.
- Add extra garlic and lemon juice to it and use it as a marinade or sauce like this Baked Salmon With Greek Dressing.
- Add some sour cream or mayonnaise and turn it into a creamy dressing or sauce or spread it on your favorite sandwich like Mediterranean Turkey Sandwich.
- Add it to cream cheese and transform it into a dip like this Blue Cheese Sauce or Dip.
- Toss it with potatoes, roast them and have a lovely side dish.
- Just spare 3 minutes in the kitchen, double or triple this recipe and keep it in the fridge for a month. Just shake it again every time you use it.
- A traditional Greek salad is made of lettuce, tomatoes, cucumbers, red onion, olives, and feta cheese.
- The two dressings have similar but different flavors. Greek dressing is heavy on oregano and has feta cheese actually in the sauce.
- It is a tangy vinaigrette with garlic and oregano flavors balanced out with honey for sweetness.
- There really is no substitute for the vinegar. You can play around with different vinegars if you like, but to make a Greek salad dressing, you have to have vinegar and olive oil.
