Honey Sriracha Sauce Recipe

This honey sriracha sauce combines honey, Sriracha, soy sauce, rice vinegar, and garlic, cooked down to a slightly thick glaze. It balances sweet and spicy flavors with a tangy note, suitable as a dipping sauce or glaze for various dishes.

Description

Honey Sriracha Sauce Recipe blends honey, Sriracha sauce, reduced-sodium soy sauce, rice vinegar, and minced garlic in a saucepan. The ingredients are whisked together over medium heat and brought to a boil, then simmered gently for 10 minutes until the sauce thickens slightly. Cooling the sauce further thickens it to a glaze-like consistency.

The combination delivers a sweet heat balanced by umami and acidity. The garlic adds pungency that rounds out the flavor profile. This versatile sauce can serve as a dipping sauce or a glaze.

It pairs well with shrimp, vegetables like Brussels sprouts, meatballs, and wings. Adjusting the amount of Sriracha modifies the spiciness to taste. The sauce can also be combined with mayonnaise to make a spicy mayo.
