Description
The Hot Crab Dip recipe blends softened cream cheese with mayonnaise, sour cream, cheddar cheese, lemon juice, Dijon mustard, Old Bay seasoning, and hot sauce to create a flavorful base. Ingredients
- 16 ounces crab meat lump
- 8 ounces cream cheese softened
- ½ cup mayonnaise
- ½ cup sour cream
- ½ cup cheddar cheese
- ½ lemon juiced
- 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
- 2 teaspoons Old Bay seasoning
- 1 teaspoon hot sauce (Tabasco or Crystal)
- salt to taste
- black pepper to taste
- ½ cup Parmesan Cheese
- green onion for garnish
Instructions
- Preheat oven for 400℉. In a large bowl combine all ingredients except for the crab meat and parmesan cheese. When the ingredients are mixed together, add the crab meat and stir until well combined.
- Place mixture into 8" oven proof skillet or 9-inch pie plate and spread evenly. Bake for 22-25 minutes.
- After 22-25 minutes, top with parmesan cheese and broil for 2-3 more minutes until the top starts to bubble and turn a light golden brown.
- Let it cool for 5 minutes and serve with your favorite dipping crackers, bread or veggies.
