Hot Pastrami Sliders

Hot Pastrami Sliders are the perfect tailgating food. They take all of ten minutes to prep and once they are baked, all you need to do is devour them!

Ingredients

  • 12 sweet roll Hawaiian or dinner rolls
  • ½ cup butter
  • 2 tablespoons mustard for sauce
  • 2 tablespoons honey
  • 2 tablespoons poppy seeds
  • 3 tablespoons mustard for spreading
  • 12 lices pastrami deli
  • 12 lices swiss cheese
  • 1 cup jalapeño sliced

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit. slice the 12 Hawaiian Sweet Rolls or Dinner Rolls in half and place the bottom half in a 9x13-inch baking dish.
  2. Melt ½ cup butter in a pan and whisk in 2 tablespoons mustard, 2 tablespoons honey, and 2 tablespoons poppy seeds. Set aside.
  3. Spread 3 tablespoons mustard, on the bottom half of the dinner rolls and divide 12 slices deli pastrami, 12 slices Swiss cheese, and 1 cup sliced Jalapenos evenly over the rolls. Place the other half of the rolls on top.
  4. Spread the butter mixture generously all over the top of the rolls, making sure to get into the crevices.
  5. Cover with foil and bake for 20 minutes. Serve hot.
