Hot Spinach Artichoke Dip

This warm appetizer combines cooked artichoke hearts, thawed and dried spinach, and a creamy mix of cream cheese and Parmesan cheese. Seasoned with red pepper flakes, salt, garlic powder, and black pepper, it delivers a rich, slightly spicy flavor. The dip is baked until heated through and is perfect to serve with crackers, chips, or bread.

Description

Hot Spinach Artichoke Dip blends softened cream cheese and Parmesan with boiled artichoke hearts and well-drained frozen spinach to create a creamy, textured dip. The artichokes are softened by boiling, which tones down their firmness and bitterness. The spinach is rinsed and patted dry to prevent extra moisture from thinning the dip. Red pepper flakes and garlic powder add mild heat and savory depth.

Baking the mixture in a 9x9 inch pan at 300°F warms it evenly without breaking down the cheese, ensuring a smooth yet hearty consistency. The flavors meld to give a creamy dip with tender vegetable pieces and a touch of spice.

This dip is served hot, making it suitable as a party appetizer or snack. It pairs well with crackers, chips, or rustic bread for dipping. Leftovers can be refrigerated in airtight containers for three to four days and reheated in an oven or microwave. Additional red pepper flakes can be added to adjust spice levels.
