  • 1 pound Shrimp deveined and peeled, frozen
  • 1 1/2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 3/4 teaspoon kosher salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon paprika
  • 1/2 teaspoon oregano dried
  • 1 pinch red pepper flakes optional
  • lemon wedges for serving
  • herbs such as chopped parsley or thyme, fresh, for garnish

Instructions

  1. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Add the frozen shrimp and season with salt, pepper, garlic powder, paprika and oregano.
  2. Cook for 2-3 minutes on each side or until the shrimp are pink, opaque, and thoroughly cooked. Sprinkle on red pepper flakes.
  3. Serve hot with fresh herbs and lemon wedges; squeeze lemon juice over shrimp when serving.
