How to Freeze Fruit
Report
Freezing Fruit is very easy to do. Freeze fresh fruit for smoothies, baked goods, and yogurt parfaits.

Instructions
- Wash all the fruit thoroughly and allow it to dry completely.
- Cut and slice the fruit based on how you place to use it. I generally leave small berries (blueberries, raspberries, blackberries) whole and slice larger pieces of fruit (strawberries, peaches, plums, etc).
- Line a baking sheet with parchment paper. Arrange the fruit in a single layer on top of the parchment paper. It’s ok if the fruit is touching slightly but don’t pile the fruit on the baking sheet.
- Place the baking sheet in the freezer for 3-4 hours until the fruit is frozen solid. You can leave the fruit in the freezer overnight but definitely remove them within a day so that the fruit does not get freezer burn.
- Place the fruit in a freezer bag, remove as much air a possible, seal tightly and freeze.
- Fruit can be stored in the freezer for 3-6 months. No need to thaw the fruit before using it!
Notes
- I love freezing fruit to use in smoothies and yogurt parfaits!
