Iced Honeycomb Lavender Latte

The Iced Honeycomb Lavender Latte combines espresso or strong coffee with honeycomb, vanilla, and lavender syrup for a floral and sweet iced coffee drink. Frothed milk adds creaminess and texture, while optional lavender flower buds garnish the glass to enhance its herbal notes. This beverage balances the richness of coffee with floral sweetness and coolness from ice, resulting in a refreshing and aromatic latte ideal for warm days or as a delicate coffee treat.

Description

This latte uses cooled shots of espresso or strong coffee mixed with vanilla extract, honeycomb, and lavender simple syrup. The ice cubes chill the mixture while frothy milk poured on top provides a creamy contrast to the coffee’s boldness. Lavender syrup adds a distinctly floral flavor paired with the natural sweetness of honeycomb or honey. The drink is stirred gently before garnishing with lavender buds to complement the lavender flavor.

The Iced Honeycomb Lavender Latte is served immediately to retain the integrity of the frothy milk and the crisp coldness from ice. It can be enjoyed on its own or alongside light pastries. The honeycomb can be substituted with liquid honey, but the choice of organic and floral honey enhances the overall profile of the latte.

Ingredients

Servings
  • ¼ teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 tablespoon honeycomb or use honey + extra for garnish, organic
  • 2 tablespoon lavender simple syrup
  • ice few cubes
  • 2 hots espresso cooled, or ½ cup strong coffee
  • ½ C milk or non-dairy alternative, of your choice
  • lavender flower buds for garnish, optional, culinary

Instructions

  1. Add in vanilla extract, honeycomb, and lavender syrup into a tall glass.
  2. Add in a few ice cubes and pour cooled espresso over top.
  3. In a separate mason jar, use an electric frother for a few seconds to froth the milk. (If you don't have a frother, you can add a lid to the mason jar and shake vigorously for about 20 seconds).
  4. Pour the frothed milk over top of the coffee, garnish with a drizzle of honey and lavender flowers (if you wish) and serve immediately.
