Instant Pot Country Style Ribs
Description
This recipe starts with marinating country style pork ribs in a mixture of beef broth, liquid smoke, Worcestershire sauce, and apple juice, which imparts moisture and a subtle smoky sweetness. A dry rub of brown sugar, salt, paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, black pepper, cumin, cayenne, and cinnamon adds complexity and spice. After marinating, ribs are coated with the rub and cooked in the Instant Pot with the marinade liquid and BBQ sauce poured over them.
The pressure cooking method quickly cooks the ribs until tender while locking in flavor, and a natural pressure release ensures juiciness. The final texture is tender with a slightly sticky exterior from the BBQ sauce. These ribs can be served as-is with extra sauce alongside typical barbecue sides.
