Instant Pot Cranberry Sauce
Description
This cranberry sauce recipe starts by placing cranberries with granulated and brown sugar, freshly squeezed orange juice, strips of orange zest, cinnamon stick, and ground cloves into an Instant Pot. The mixture is cooked under high pressure for a brief period, then naturally released to preserve texture. After cooking, the zest and cinnamon stick are removed, and the sauce is mashed to reach the desired consistency before stirring in vanilla extract for added depth.
The use of an electric pressure cooker reduces cooking time while maintaining a balance of sweet-tart flavors from the cranberries and fresh citrus elements. The warm spices complement the natural tartness, making this sauce suitable for serving with turkey, pork, or as a spread. It can be cooled before using or stored for later meals.
