{Instant Pot} Pressure Cooker Swedish Meatballs
Description
This Instant Pot Swedish Meatballs recipe blends canned mushroom soups, beef broth, and brown gravy mix into a well-rounded cooking liquid. Frozen meatballs and dry egg noodles are added to the mixture, enabling the noodles to cook alongside the meatballs in the pressure cooker. After cooking under high pressure for 8 minutes followed by quick pressure release, sour cream is stirred in to add creaminess and tang, resulting in a thick and velvety sauce. The method cooks everything in one pot, simplifying preparation and cleanup.
The finished dish presents tender meatballs in a rich sauce, with egg noodles that have absorbed flavors while cooking. The sauce balances the earthiness of mushrooms with the smooth tang from sour cream, making it a hearty meal that can be served as is for a filling dinner.
