Instant Pot Steak Bites

Report
Instant Pot Steak Bites are tender pieces of round steak cooked together with diced onion, garlic, salt, pepper, butter, and beef broth under pressure. The pressure cooking method quickly tenderizes the steak while blending the savory flavors in a simple one-pot preparation. The result is bite-sized pieces rich with beefy taste and enhanced by the creamy butter and garlic, suitable as a main dish or appetizer.

Description

This recipe calls for cubed round steak combined with diced onion, minced garlic, salt, pepper, butter, and beef broth placed into an Instant Pot. The pressure cooking process for 20 minutes under sealing pressure quickly softens the otherwise tougher round steak cuts and infuses the seasoning and broth into the meat.

Once cooking is complete and pressure is naturally released, the ingredients are stirred to combine, yielding steak bites coated with a flavorful sauce enhanced by the butter. The texture of the steak pieces becomes tender while retaining bite-sized form. The garlic and onion contribute aromatic depth, complementing the beef broth base.

Serving is immediate after cooking. Additional gravy can be prepared by mixing cornstarch with water and simmering the juices with the sauté function until thickened. Leftovers can be refrigerated safely for up to a week.
