Ingredients
- 11 ounces (312g) 4 links of Italian Sausage
Instructions
- Preheat the air fryer to 360 degrees F / 182 degrees C.
- Place Italian sausages inside the air fryer basket in a single layer, leaving space between them for air to circulate so they cook evenly.
- Air fry for 10-15 minutes, turning the sausages over halfway through the cooking time.
- Use a digital meat thermometer to check to ensure they are fully cooked. The internal temperature should be at least 160 degrees F / 71 degrees C when inserted into the thickest part of the sausage.

Notes
- To avoid smoking, make sure the air fryer basket is clean. Sausages have a high fat content and will drip during cooking. If your air fryer model has a drip tray, that must be clean as well.
- Other tips for preventing smoking: place a perforated parchment paper liner in the air fryer basket, or add a small amount of water to the drawer underneath the basket.
- Cooking a lot of Italian sausages? To prevent smoking, clean the basket between batches.
- To reduce the cooking time, slice Italian sausages in half lengthwise before placing in the air fryer.
- Air fryer temperatures may vary depending on the make and model, so use the cooking time listed as a guide, check food for doneness, and adjust time as needed.
- The total cooking time will depend on the size and thickness of the sausages.
- It's important to note that Italian sausage and smoked sausage are not the same.
- Cook fresh Italian sausage within 3 days of purchasing or freeze it for later.
- Be sure the internal temperature of the sausages reaches 160 degrees F / 71 degrees C before serving.
- Storage - keep leftovers in an airtight container inside the fridge for 3 days.
- There are 10 WW Blue Plan SmartPoints in one serving of this.
