Italian Sliders
Description
This recipe arranges twelve slider buns halved and filled with equal portions of ham, turkey, salami, pepperoni, and deli chicken, topped with provolone slices. Roasted red peppers and chopped pepperoncini provide sweetness and mild heat. The assembled sliders are brushed generously with melted butter mixed with garlic powder, Italian seasoning, and grated Parmesan cheese.
Baking the sliders covered with foil at 350°F for 5 to 10 minutes warms the ingredients and melts the cheese without drying the bread. Serving with marinara sauce for dipping adds a tomato-based tangy complement to the rich meats and cheese. These sliders work well as appetizers, party foods, or casual meals.
The mixture of meats and peppers creates layers of flavor, while the butter and Parmesan topping adds a savory crust on the buns. The recipe makes a batch of twelve sliders and uses common deli and pantry ingredients.
