Ingredients

  • 1 French bread cut in half lengthwise, loaf
  • 4 Tbsp butter (melted)
  • 8 oz cream cheese (softened at room temperature)
  • 1 cup mozzarella cheese shredded
  • 1 cup cheddar cheese shredded
  • 2 jalapeños (diced into small pieces)
  • 6 lices Bacon (cooked and crumbled)
  • 2 tsp garlic minced

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 400 degrees F.
  2. In a medium size bowl, combine the melted butter, cream cheese, 1/2 cup of the mozzarella cheese, 1/2 cup of the cheddar cheese, minced garlic and 1/2 of the diced jalapeños.
  3. Place the french bread halves on a baking sheet.
  4. Spread the cream cheese mixture on each side of the bread and top with the remaining shredded cheese, jalapeños and the crumbled bacon.
  5. Bake for 15 minutes or until the cheese is melted and slightly bubbly.
  6. Allow the bread to cool for a few minutes, then slice and serve.

Notes

  • Refrigerate leftovers in an air tight container for up to 5 days.
