Juicy Air Fryer Meatballs

Juicy Air Fryer Meatballs are made from a blend of lean ground beef and pork, seasoned with Italian herbs, onion powder, salt, and black pepper, bound with egg, milk, Parmesan cheese, and seasoned breadcrumbs. Cooked in an air fryer, they develop a browned exterior while staying tender and juicy inside. This method offers a convenient way to make meatballs with less mess and shorter cooking time compared to oven baking or frying.

Description

This recipe mixes ground beef and pork with seasoned breadcrumbs, egg, milk, chopped parsley, grated Parmesan, Italian seasoning, onion powder, salt, and pepper to form a well-balanced meatball mixture. After mixing, the mixture is divided into 16 equally sized meatballs. The air fryer is preheated, and the meatballs are arranged in a single layer to allow even cooking.

The temperature is initially high to brown the exterior, then lowered slightly for finishing. The meatballs cook until the internal temperature reaches 165°F, ensuring food safety while maintaining juiciness. A rest period after cooking allows juices to redistribute inside the meatballs.

These meatballs can be served with sauces or accompaniments of your choice. The air fryer technique reduces cooking time and cleanup, making this a practical option for home cooking.

Because air fryer models can vary, checking the meatballs a few minutes before the expected time can prevent overcooking. Leftovers store well in airtight containers refrigerated for four days or frozen up to one month.
