Juicy Garlic Pepper Chicken Pieces in a Pan

Ingredients

  • 1 lb boneless skinless chicken breasts or thighs
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • ¼ teaspoon black pepper
  • ¼ teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1-2 tablespoons olive oil for cooking

Instructions

  1. Using a sharp knife, carefully cut the chicken breasts into 1-inch cubes on a large cutting board. Sprinkle the salt, black pepper, and garlic powder over the chicken pieces and toss to coat.
  2. In a large cast-iron or stainless steel skillet, heat the oil over medium-high heat.
  3. Add the chicken pieces in an even layer and cook undisturbed for 4 minutes. Flip and cook for an additional 3 minutes until the chicken reaches an internal temperature of 165F.
  4. Remove from heat and add to your favorite recipe or serve with dipping sauce.

Notes

  • You can replace the garlic powder, salt, and pepper with 1 to 1 ½ teaspoons of your favorite seasoning blend.
