Keto Chicken Marinade for Grilled Chicken

This Keto Chicken Marinade blends chicken broth, olive oil, lemon juice, yellow mustard, garlic, Italian seasoning, and salt to impart flavor and moisture to chicken breasts before grilling. Marinating allows the chicken to absorb these savory and tangy notes, resulting in a juicy, seasoned grilled chicken adjusted for keto diets. The simple ingredients coat the meat and encourage browning and tenderness upon grilling.

Description

The marinade combines liquid components like reduced-sodium chicken broth, olive oil, lemon juice, and garlic with yellow mustard and dried Italian seasoning, producing a balanced, savory mix. Salt rounds out the flavor. Chicken breasts are salted first, then submerged in the marinade for a minimum of two hours or up to overnight, maximizing flavor infusion and tenderization.

Grilling is straightforward: preheat the grill to medium heat and cook chicken breasts for about 5 to 7 minutes per side, until an internal temperature of 165°F is reached, which ensures safety and optimal juiciness. This marinade specifically suits keto dietary preferences by avoiding sugars or high-carb ingredients.

It yields enough marinade for about 1¼ pounds of chicken breast, making it a convenient portion for family meals or batch cooking.
