Kickin’ Bacon Wrapped Chicken Bites

Kickin’ Bacon Wrapped Chicken Bites consist of bite-sized chicken pieces wrapped in bacon, coated with a spicy brown sugar rub and baked until the bacon crisps and the chicken cooks through. The combination of sweet, smoky, and spicy flavors creates a savory appetizer or snack with a pleasing contrast between tender chicken and crispy bacon.

Description

This recipe uses bite-sized chunks of boneless, skinless chicken breast wrapped in bacon slices cut into thirds. The bites are secured with toothpicks to keep the bacon wrapped during baking. The coating is a blend of brown sugar, cayenne pepper, chili powder, and black pepper, providing a kick of heat balanced by sweetness. After coating, the bites are arranged on a wire rack placed over a foil-lined baking pan to allow even cooking and fat drainage.

Baking at 350°F for 30 to 35 minutes ensures the bacon crisps and the chicken is cooked until juices run clear. The resulting bites are a mix of crispy bacon exterior and juicy, spicy chicken interior. The seasoning rub lends a smoky heat without overpowering the meat.

These bites are suitable as finger food for parties or snacks, pairing well with dips or sauces if desired. The recipe is straightforward, requiring simple ingredients and hands-on preparation for flavorful results.
