Kielbasa Appetizer
Description
The beef kielbasa is cut into small rounds and slow-cooked with barbecue sauce, strawberry jam, and pepper jelly, which blend into a glaze that coats the sausage pieces. Slow cooking allows the flavors to meld and the kielbasa to become tender. Serving the kielbasa with toothpicks makes it easy to handle as an appetizer. Additionally, cream cheese crackers topped with pepper jelly and a piece of the cooked kielbasa create a contrasting texture and flavor combination, pairing the smoky sausage with creamy and sweet elements for variety.
