Kielbasa Pasta
Description
Kielbasa Pasta combines sliced smoked kielbasa sausage with diced onions and minced garlic browned together to develop savory depth. Rotini pasta cooks directly in the mixture of diced tomatoes, milk, and chicken broth seasoned with salt and black pepper. The liquid coverage allows the pasta to absorb flavors and cook fully in one pot. The simmering for about 15 minutes softens the pasta and melds the ingredients.
Afterwards, shredded cheddar cheese is stirred in off the heat, melting into the sauce to form a creamy, cheesy coating that complements the smoky sausage. Covered resting melts the cheese uniformly and enriches the dish’s texture. The resulting pasta is rich, filling, and well-balanced between the smoky meat and the smooth cheese sauce.
This Kielbasa Pasta can be served as a main dish. It pairs well with green salad or steamed vegetables for a complete meal. The recipe allows substitution of pasta varieties in case rotini is unavailable, providing flexibility. Leftovers keep well refrigerated for several days making it convenient for planning.
