Ingredients

Servings

MAIN

  • 185 g tuna 6.5 ounces), oil or water drained, canned
  • 50 g mixed vegetables (1.7 ounces), such as sweet corn, baby peas, bell peppers, or carrots, chopped into small pieces if needed. Frozen or canned options are also suitable.
  • 20 g onion (0.7 ounces), diced
  • 1 Tbsp neutral cooking oil I used rice bran oil, generic cooking oil
  • 1 tsp sesame seeds to garnish, toasted

SPICY TUNA SAUCE

  • 1 Tbsp gochujang (Korean chili paste)
  • 2 Tbsp ketchup
  • 1/2 Tbsp honey

Instructions

  1. Heat a pan over medium-high heat, add the cooking oil, and stir in the tuna quickly.
  2. Add the vegetables and spicy tuna sauce, mixing well to ensure everything is coated. If you doubled the sauce to serve over rice or pasta, reserve half of it for later.
  3. Add sesame seeds, remove from heat, and serve, following the serving suggestions below. Enjoy your deliciously spicy Korean tuna!

Notes

  • * Double the sauce amounts if you're serving it over rice or pasta.
