Layered Hummus Dip

Take store bought bean dip from hummus to YUMMUS with this delicious and speedy layered hummus dip. Tasty hummus is piled high with a mountain of toppings including feta, cucumber, onion, parsley, and drizzled with a sweet and savory balsamic glaze.

Ingredients
- 10 oz package of hummus (choose your favorite!)
- ¼ cup diced cucumber
- ¼ cup diced tomato
- ⅛ cup crumbled Feta cheese
- 1 TBSP fresh chopped parsley
- sweet balsamic glaze for topping
OPTIONAL EXTRAS
- minced red onion
- olives
Instructions
- Get ready to tackle that party prep to-do list because your easy appetizer pretty much just walked into the kitchen and made itself!
- Spread hummus onto a plate.
- Finely chop cucumber and tomatoes plus any extra veggies you'd like to add like olives and/or red onion.
- Sprinkle the veggies on top of the hummus and top with a dizzle of balsamic glaze.
- Top with crumbled feta and fresh parsley.
- Feel free to add any extras of your favorite hummus toppings! Surround with an array of crunchy pita chips and veggies. Because, duh. Enjoy!
Notes
- Of course if you're chilling at home with some chickpeas and a food processor handy, then feel free to whip up a bowl of yummy homemade hummus!
- Same goes for the glaze, you can purchase a bottle at your favorite grocery store or simply reduce your favorite balsamic vinegar over medium heat in a saucepan , stirring occasionally, until it thickens into a yummy reduction.
- Serve with sliced cucumber, carrot sticks or baby carrots, bell pepper slices, and pita chips for dipping.
