Layered Nacho Dip

Layered Nacho Dip is a multi-layered party dip built on a creamy base of cream cheese and sour cream seasoned with taco seasoning, topped with salsa and shredded Mexican cheese, and finished with green onions. The dip offers creamy, tangy, spicy, and cheesy elements to enjoy with tortilla chips.

Description

This dip begins by beating softened cream cheese until smooth, then blending in sour cream and taco seasoning for a flavorful base layer. The mixture is spread evenly in a glass dish. A layer of salsa is spooned over it, followed by a generous topping of shredded Mexican cheese blend. After chilling for about 30 minutes to allow the cream cheese layer to firm slightly, the dip is garnished with thinly sliced green onions, enhancing freshness and mild bite.

The combination presents a creamy richness balanced by the bright, slightly spicy salsa and melted cheese melt. It is served cold or chilled alongside tortilla chips for scooping.

This dip pairs well with chips during casual gatherings and does not require baking, making it a quick and cool addition to snack tables. The layering allows for easy customization by varying the spice level or cheese blend.
