Overnight Oats Base

  • ½ cup rolled oats 40 g
  • ½ cup milk 120 mL
  • 1 Tbsp sweetener 15 g
  • 1 Tbsp chia seeds 7 g
  • Pinch salt

Optional Flavors (see recipe notes for all flavor ideas)

  • ¼ cup Fruit chopped or mashed
  • ¼ tsp vanilla extract
  • ¼ to ½ tsp Spices like cinnamon, nutmeg, or cloves

Instructions

  1. Assemble: In a 16-oz mason jar or bowl, combine base ingredients with your desired flavors. Stir to combine.
  2. Rest: Seal shut and place in the fridge for at least 2 hours (or overnight), until oats are soft.
  3. Serve: When ready to eat, give it a good stir and then dig in! If the oats appear dry, add a splash of milk. You don't need to cook overnight oats, but you can warm them in the microwave if desired.
