Leftover Cranberry Sauce Dark Chocolate Overnight Oats
Description
Leftover Cranberry Sauce Dark Chocolate Overnight Oats are prepared by mixing rolled oats with milk, chia seeds, vanilla extract, and a couple tablespoons of cranberry sauce. Soaked overnight in the refrigerator, the oats absorb the liquids to become creamy with a tender texture. In the morning, additional cranberry sauce is stirred in, enhancing the fruity tartness throughout.
Dark chocolate pieces scattered on top melt slightly into the oats, balancing the tart cranberry with mild bitterness and richness. Toppings such as sliced almonds, extra chia seeds, and hemp hearts add nutty flavors and crunchy textures, enriching each bite.
This make-ahead breakfast offers a sweet yet tangy start to the day using leftover cranberry sauce creatively, with versatility in milk choice and toppings depending on preference.
