Ingredients

Servings
  • 2 cups macaroni cooked, with cheese
  • 2 trips Bacon cooked and chopped fine, optional

Instructions

  1. Preheat your waffle iron. Take your cold, cooked macaroni and cheese and chop into small pieces. If your mac and cheese is too thick, you can also add a splash of milk.
  2. Scoop about half cup of the mixture, depending on your waffle maker, spreading it evenly. Sprinkle on the bacon bits if you're using them. Close the waffle iron and cook until the waffles are golden and crispy.
  3. Serve your mac and cheese waffles immediately.

Notes

  • Depending on the size of your waffle maker, 2 cups of leftover macaroni and cheese will make about two to four macaroni and cheese waffles.
  • Be very careful between waffles as you clear out the cheesy fat that has oozed out.
