Lemon Garlic Butter Flank Steak with Mushrooms is tender, juicy flank steak cooked in a buttery, lemon garlic sauce mixed with mushrooms for the perfect combination. It is cooked in a skillet to tender perfection and a meal that everyone will love!

Ingredients
- 2 pounds flank steak
- 1 cup steak marinade, homemade or storebought
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 3 minced garlic cloves
- 16 ounces sliced mushrooms
- 3 tablespoons butter
- ¼ cup chicken broth
- Juice of one lemon
- ⅛ teaspoon red pepper flakes
- fresh chopped parsley
Instructions
- Add the 2 pounds flank steak and the 1 cup Steak Marinade, to a zip lock bag, seal it, and let marinate for 30 minutes.
- Remove the steak from the marinade and discard the marinade. Slice the steak into strips against the grain.
- Heat the 2 tablespoons olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Add the steak strips and 3 minced garlic cloves and cook for 2-3 minutes until the steak is cooked to the desired doneness. Remove the steak and set aside on a plate.
- Add the 16 ounces sliced mushrooms to the skillet and cook for 2-3 minutes until tender. Remove and set on the plate with the steak.
- Add the 3 tablespoons butter, ¼ cup chicken broth, juice of one lemon, and ⅛ teaspoon red pepper flakes to the skillet. Bring the liquid to a boil, then reduce the heat to low and simmer.
- Add the steak and mushrooms back to the skillet with the simmering liquid. Toss to warm up and garnish with fresh chopped parsley.
