Description

Lemon Garlic Shrimp and Asparagus features shrimp cooked with chopped asparagus in a browned butter sauce that includes minced garlic, crushed red pepper flakes, and a white wine simmer. Fresh lemon juice and zest bring brightness to the dish, balancing the richness of the butter. The shrimp are cooked in the pan with the vegetables until they turn opaque and tender, while the asparagus offers a subtle crispness. Fresh chopped basil stirred in just before serving adds an herbal note that complements the lemon and garlic flavors. This technique results in a balanced seafood and vegetable dish with gentle heat and vibrant citrus highlights.

The sautéed combination can be served as a standalone main or alongside rice or a light salad, fitting well into a casual meal. Its fairly quick cooking time and straightforward process make it suitable for a practical home-cooked dinner that doesn't sacrifice freshness or taste.
