Ingredients

  • ¼ cup ginger peeled and grated
  • 6 cups water
  • 1/3 cup lemon juice
  • ¼ cup honey
  • 1/8 teaspoon ground cayenne pepper

Instructions

  1. Heat everything in a saucepan, covered, on your stove top until it comes to a full boil. Remove saucepan from heat and keep it covered while you allow the toddy to steep and cool for 10 minutes. Serve and enjoy.
  2. Note: Store beverage in a sealed jar including ginger pulp for up to one week. Strain beverage into a saucepan and reheat before drinking.
