Lemon Parmesan Pork Chops {frugal and easy)
Description
Lemon Parmesan Pork Chops are prepared by seasoning thin boneless pork loin chops with salt and pepper, then coating them first with a mixture of Parmesan cheese and lemon zest. After that, the chops are dipped into beaten eggs and finally coated with panko breadcrumbs for a crispy crust. Cooking these in olive oil over medium heat develops a golden-brown exterior while cooking the interior to a safe temperature of 150 degrees Fahrenheit, ensuring juiciness.
The lemon zest in the cheese mixture provides a subtle citrus note that cuts through the richness of the pork and cheese, while the panko breadcrumbs create a crunchy texture contrasting the tender pork. Serving with lemon wedges is optional but adds a fresh acidity that complements the dish and balances the flavors.
This recipe works well as a straightforward pan-fried main dish that pairs nicely with simple sides like steamed vegetables or a salad. The crust provides a pleasant textural element without heavy coatings, keeping the focus on the meat and seasoning.

- 1 cup panko bread crumbs
- 3/4 cups Parmesan Cheese grated
- lemon zest of 1
- 4-6 pork loin chop boneless, thin cut
