Liz's Candied Carrots

Liz's Candied Carrots are perfect for holiday meals! They're an amazing combination of butter, brown sugar & rosemary that's so easy to make!

Ingredients

  • 2 cups carrots peeled and cut into 1-inch slices
  • 2 cups water
  • ¾ cup light brown sugar packed
  • ½ cup butter
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 6 prigs fresh Rosemary plus more for garnish

Instructions

  1. Add the carrots, water, brown sugar, butter, salt, and rosemary sprigs to a large skillet. Place over high heat and bring to a boil.
  2. Reduce the heat to medium-low. Simmer for 30 minutes or until the carrots are tender.
  3. To serve, transfer the carrots and any glaze in the pan to a serving bowl. Remove the rosemary sprigs and sprinkle with chopped fresh rosemary for garnish.
