Loaded Baked Potato Foil Packs
Description
The recipe uses small red potatoes quartered into bite-sized pieces and coated in a neutral oil seasoned with roasted garlic and herb blend, sea salt, and black pepper. Wrapped individually in foil, the packets are grilled over medium-high heat, turning periodically to ensure even cooking. The sealed environment steams and roasts potatoes until tender, preserving moisture while developing a slightly crisp exterior near the foil edges. Once opened, each pack is topped generously with sour cream, melted cheddar cheese, crispy bacon bits, and fresh chopped green onions. This combination balances creamy, sharp, smoky, and fresh flavors that echo a classic loaded baked potato. These foil packs are convenient for camping or backyard grilling and allow assembling ahead of time since they can be refrigerated for over a day before grilling.
