Mango Black Bean Salsa Recipe Card

This Mango Black Bean Salsa mixes ripe diced mango with black beans, lime juice, jalapeño, red onion, and bell pepper, seasoned with smoked paprika and red wine vinegar, plus fresh cilantro. The salsa offers a bright, sweet, spicy, and tangy mix with contrasting textures perfect for chips or as a topping.

Description

The recipe calls for combining diced mango with drained and rinsed black beans, freshly squeezed lime juice, diced and deseeded jalapeño, optional red bell pepper, finely chopped red onion, and cilantro. Smoked paprika and red wine vinegar season the salsa, enhancing its depth and acidity. Mixing these ingredients creates a salsa with a colorful mix of creamy beans, sweet mango, and crisp vegetables.

The flavor balance here includes sweetness from the mango, earthy richness from black beans, moderate heat from jalapeño, and a subtle smokiness from paprika, brightened by lime and vinegar. The salsa has a chunky texture featuring juicy mango pieces and firm beans, giving a refreshing but hearty experience.

This salsa works well served with grilled fish or fish tacos as an accompaniment that adds fresh texture and contrast. It also pairs nicely with tortilla chips, especially blue corn varieties, for visual appeal and complementary flavor.
