Mango Frozen Yogurt

This mango frozen yogurt blends frozen mango cubes with plain Greek yogurt and honey for natural sweetness. The mixture is processed until smooth and creamy, creating a textured frozen treat that can be served either soft-serve right away or firmed up with additional freezing. The dessert balances tropical fruit flavor and tangy yogurt with a gentle sweetness.

Description

The Mango Frozen Yogurt recipe combines frozen mango cubes, plain Greek yogurt, and honey in a strong food processor. The ingredients are pureed until smooth, with occasional scraping down the sides to achieve an even consistency. The mango provides a vibrant tropical flavor and natural sweetness, while the yogurt adds creaminess and a mild tang. Honey enhances sweetness without overpowering the fresh fruit taste.

This frozen yogurt can be enjoyed immediately for a soft-serve style dessert or placed in the freezer for a few hours to firm up into a scoopable texture. When frozen, it benefits from sitting at room temperature for a few minutes before serving to soften slightly. The result is a refreshing frozen dessert offering a balance between creamy, sweet, and fruity notes using simple ingredients.

Ingredients

Servings
  • 4 cups Mango frozen, cubes
  • 1/2 cup plain Greek yogurt 2% fat
  • 5 tablespoons honey

Instructions

  1. Place all the ingredients in a strong, large and high-powered food processor and process until smooth. You'll need to stop and scrape the sides down with a spoon or spatula as necessary.
  2. Next, you can either DEVOUR it right away if you like soft-serve, or freeze for a few hours to make sure it firms up a little.

Notes

  • If frozen for an extended time, let the mango frozen yogurt sit at room temperature briefly before serving to soften for easier scooping or spooning.
