Mango Salsa
Description
The Mango Salsa recipe features ripe mangoes diced finely alongside red onion, red bell pepper, jalapeño with seeds removed for milder heat, and freshly chopped cilantro. The combination provides a variety of textures: softness from mango, crisp crunch from onion and pepper, and a fresh herbaceous note from cilantro. Cider vinegar and fresh lime juice add acidity to brighten the flavors and help meld them together.
This salsa lends itself well as a dip for tortilla chips or as a vibrant topping on grilled fish, chicken, tacos, burritos, or even mixed into salads and quesadillas. Its balance of sweet, tangy, and mildly spicy components supports many dishes needing a fresh, zesty accent.
Yielding about 3½ cups, it can be made ahead and chilled to let flavors develop further before serving. Adjust salt to taste to enhance the overall balance.
